During this event the bride's hands and feet are adorned with intricate henna designs. The use of Mehendi represents the auspiciousness and joy of the upcoming marraige.

Pandha Kaal Nadudhal

This is the first event where the bride's family would place a bamboo pole at the entrance as a sign that a wedding would be held at their home.

This pre-wedding ceremony starts with the bride and groom being seated on a mat and turmeric is applied on bride and groom’s hands, legs and cheeks. This is to ensure that the couple is warded off any negative energy that surrounds them before their big day!

Manamakkal Azhaipu (Reception Party)

An evening of celebration which starts with welcoming the bride and groom as a couple for the first time, followed by ring exchange and some cake!! A grand feast to follow after the party. We are thrilled to celebrate with you and click lots of pictures.


September 16th, 6:30pm onwards

Kalyanam (Wedding)

It's happening!! We invite you to share our joy and happiness as we officially become husband and wife. Do wear traditional clothes, don't miss Abi in a traditional Kanchipuram Silk saree and Vijay in Silk Veshti and Angavastram.


September 17th, 7:30-9am

Penn Alaipu

This is a celebration that happens after marraige. Welcoming bride for the first time to groom's residence.
